Abram and his wife Sarah lived in the city of Ur in Babylon. Sarai was very beautiful, but she was sad because she was unable to have children. Abram had two brothers, Nahor and Haron. He also had a nephew named Lot. Abram's father Terah served the gods of the land. But the one true God chose Abram to serve Him only. He told Abram to leave his family and go to the land of Canaan, (later known as Israel). This is a story of Abram's journey of faith with God.
